The United Nations has declared 20th March as the first ever International Day of Happiness. Although this is an initiative to encourage governments to consider the well-being of their citizens (not an order for us all to look up from our desks for a moment and grin at a colleague) it’s worth remembering how much our physical health contributes to overall happiness.
If you don’t have a six month old to trade smiles with and your lifestyle won’t accommodate a puppy, why not get out and enjoy the great British countryside on foot? A simple pleasure, but as The North Face mantra goes: “Never Stop Exploring”. At Countryside Ski & Climb we think this is a great piece of advice that applies to more than just the physical paths in life.
